INGREDIENTS

onions, peeled

egg, beaten

Hinds Southern Coating Original
▢
1 Tbsp (15ml)
Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning
▢
Oil for frying
▢
½ cup (125ml)
mayonnaise
▢
2 Tbsp (30ml)
sweet chilli sauce
METHOD
Slice the onion into 1cm thick rings.
Dip into the beaten egg.
Mix together the Hinds Southern Coating Original and Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning.
Coat the onion rings in the mixture.
Heat the oil, and fry for
5 minutes
until golden and crisp.
Remove and set aside on kitchen paper.
Mix together the mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce for dipping.
