METHOD

  • Heat the oil in a medium sized pot, fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the carrots and mince and fry for 5 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the Hinds Spices Medium Curry Powder, Hinds Spices Turmeric, Rhodes Quality Tomato Paste, Bisto Original Gravy Powder and beef stock, and simmer gently for 30 minutes.
  • Stir in half the chopped parsley and set aside.
  • Shape the dough into balls, and fry in hot oil for 3 minutes. Remove from the oil and set aside. Cut the fried buns open and fill with the mince. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with chutney on the side.
