- 250g butter, cubed
METHOD
- Add the butter to a medium sized saucepan and heat over a medium/ low heat for 10 minutes. The ghee is ready when the butter separates and the milk solids at the bottom of the pan start turning golden brown.
- Remove from the heat and line a sieve withkitchen paper and strain. Discard the paper towel contents.
- Pour into a sterilised glass jar and keep refrigerated.
- Ghee can keep for up to 3 months.
