- 300g oven chips
- 1 x 300g hake fillet
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) Hinds Spices Portuguese Chicken Spice
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) cooking oil
- 1 x 300 g sirloin steak
- 2 tsp (10ml) Hinds Spices Steak & Chops Spice
- 1 tsp (5ml) Hinds Spices Aromatic Garlic & Herb
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) butter
- 2 tsp (10ml) Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning
- ¼ cup tartare sauce
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180℃, place the oven chips onto an oven tray and cook for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle the Hinds Spices Portuguese Chicken Spice over the hake fillet, heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the fish for 7 – 10 minutes, turning over half way through cooking.
- Heat cooking oil in a large pan over a high heat and rub the steak with Hinds Spices Steak & Chops Spice and Hinds Spices Aromatic Garlic & Herb. Add it to the hot pan and fry for 8 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking, add the butter.
- Remove the chips from the oven and sprinkle over Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning, serve with the fried fish, steak, tartare sauce and lemon wedges.
