- 8 pack drums and chicken thighs
- 6 button mushrooms
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 100g Hinds Southern Coating Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- ½ Tbsp (7.5 ml) Hinds Spices Paprika
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Hinds Spices Mixed Herbs
- 3 Tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
- 500g oven chips, for serving
METHOD
- Dip the chicken pieces and mushrooms in beaten egg. Mix the Hinds Southern Coating Seasoned Breadcrumbs, Hinds Spices Paprika and Hinds Spices Mixed Herbs together, coat the chicken pieces in the crumb mixture and set aside. Then coat the mushrooms in the crumb mixture.
- Line the air fryer basket with baking paper,place the pieces of crumbed chicken into the air fryer and cook for 25  - 30 minutes at 180°C. Halfway through cooking, pull out the air fryer basket and drizzle over a little olive oil and toss, return to the air fryer to continue to cook.
- Place the mushrooms into the air fryer for 7 minutes at 180°C. After 3 minutes of cooking, drizzle over a little olive oil and toss well and fry for a further 4 minutes.
- Season the chicken pieces and enjoy with hot chips.
