- 3 onions, peeled
- 1 egg, beaten
- Hinds Southern Coating Original
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning
- Oil for frying
- ½ cup (125ml) mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) sweet chilli sauce
METHOD
- Slice the onion into 1cm thick rings.
- Dip into the beaten egg.
- Mix together the Hinds Southern Coating Original and Hinds Spices Salt & Vinegar Seasoning.
- Coat the onion rings in the mixture.
- Heat the oil, and fry for 5 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Remove and set aside on kitchen paper.
- Mix together the mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce for dipping.
