INGREDIENTS

For Aioli

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled & crushed
  • ½ the juice of a lemon
  • 2.5 ml salt
  • 2.5 ml Hinds Spices Paprika
  • ½ cup sunflower oil

METHOD

  • Soak skewers in water for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, the Hinds Spices Peri-Peri Spice, Hinds Spices Southern Grill All in One Seasoning, Hinds Spices Mixed Herbs, Hinds Spices Crushed Chillies, lemon zest and juice together.
  • Add the prawns and marinate for 10 minutes in the fridge.
  • Place 5 prawns onto a skewer, repeat.
  • Braai on a hot braai for 5 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Serve with lemon and garlic Aioli.

To make Aioli

  • In a blender or with a whisk, mix the egg yolk, lemon juice, garlic, paprika and salt.
  • Slowly drizzle the oil in while blending or mixing until it thickens to form a mayonnaise.
