INGREDIENTS

  • 500g Lean mince- beef, lamb or a mixture
  • 1 Small onion, grated
  • 50ml Fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Hinds Spices Pure Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Hinds Spices Crushed Chillies
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Hinds Spices Steak & Chops Spice
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Tomato sauce
  • 2 2 tbsp (30 ml) Chutney
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Soya sauce
  • 50 ml Oats, to combine
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for frying

METHOD

  • Mix together all the ingredients and knead for 5 minutes. Shape into balls and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, and fry for 5 minutes until golden in colour and cooked through.
    Chef’s tip: For easy convenience, cook the meatballs in the air fryer. Drizzle with olive oil and fry for 15 minutes at 180°C.
